Monitoring Rational ClearCase database health is the kind of task that is always a low priority, despite IBM's recommendations..Although tests can prevent costly system downtime, they require time, and an effort to find the correct command, the checks IBM recommends, and how to fix problems. So in most cases the checks are postponed, partially performed, or simply ignored.

Technical Requirements

ClearCheck supports Window, Linux or UNIX . It does not disrupt normal work, as it works when the database is online.

  • ClearCase: 9.x, 8.x, 7.x and 2003.06
  • Windows: Server 2012, Server 2008, 8.x, 7, Server 2003, XP and 2000
  • Linux and UNIX - all kinds: Red-Hat, Ubuntu, AIX, Suse, Solaris, HP-UX and SGI
  • Memory (RAM): 4 GB at least
  • .NET Framework 4.0 (provided by Microsoft. If not installed yet, you can download it here)
