Gregory Sechuga is a Competitive Project Office Manager, Rational and Lotus Competitive Research. He is an IBM Senior Certified IT Architect and The Open Group Certified Distinguished Lead/Chief Architect. Prior to joining theCPO team in 2007, Gregory was a Lead Architect in Microsoft Practice atIBM Global Business Services where he delivered enterprise application development and application integration solutions toIBM customers for 7 years. Gregory has more than 20 years of experience in architecting and implementing complex enterprise IT solutions for a wide range of industries.
Jeff Miller is a Senior Software Engineer with the IBM Software Group Competitive Project Office. He has over 24 years of software development experience as an electrical engineer, software developer and architect. His focus at IBM is System z, Java EE application architecture, design, development, Web services, SOA and security. Jeff consults, codes, teaches, writes technical articles and speaks to universities and groups. He is an IBM-certified On Demand Solution Designer and Solution Technologist, an IBM Certified Solution Designer — Service-Oriented Architecture, and is IBM-certified on Rational Application Developer and WebSphere Application Server. Jeff is a CompTIA Security+ Certified Professional. He received his Masters degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jeff is press-trained.
Doug Tidwell is a Senior Software Engineer in IBM’s Competitive Projects Office. He was a speaker at the first XML conference in 1997, and he has been working with markup languages, Web services, and SOA for many years. His presentations have been featured at dozens of conferences, including a JavaOne presentation on cloud computing that earned him a Rock Star award in 2009. In his work for the CPO, he demonstrates the value of Rational and Lotus products to customers and business partners around the world.
He is the author of many articles on IBM’s developerWorks site (ibm.com/developerWorks), and is the author of O’Reilly’s book on XSLT, a copy of which makes a perfect gift for any occasion (oreilly.com/catalog/9780596527211). He lives inChapel Hill,North Carolina with his wife, daughter, and dog.
