Last week, the annual conference of IBM software took place in Beijing. Of course, the Rational brand took part. This year’s Rational event was focused on DevOps.

Since we provide a DevOps solution for ClearCase (consisting of our R&D Reporter and Visual Annotate), we were invited to demonstrate our solution by IBM Rational China.

The conference lasted two days, and I was glad to share the experience with thousands of other participants. I didn’t join the technical sessions as they were held in the Chinese language, but I did get the chance to speak with lots of local Rational users, including ClearCase developers who work in China. I could understand their challenges, and I was pleased to realize that our solution can help them improve development processes—even when they use the Chinese version of ClearCase!
