We are pleased to inform you about a new version (1.0.6) of Midjet ClearCheck, the utility which checks the credibility of your ClearCase database. This version includes many updates that were gathered by users feedback.
Major Updates:
- No more downtime. All checks, including dbcheck, can be done while the ClearCase VOBs server is up and running
- GUI improvement
- Performance improvement
- DBcheck can be executed once a week (or more)
- VOBs lock and unlock options, what means a better integration with backup scripts
- Better support to UNIX and Linux VOB servers
- Better support to filers (NetApp, EMC) and network storage (NFS, Samba)
- A new check: Free space status (currently for Windows VOBs server only)
- Online Help
- Log file size was reduced
