I’ve been asked several times recently whether ClearCase supports Windows 8. As of yet, Windows 8 is not officially supported by ClearCase.
As part of our development process, we did try to install ClearCase 8 on Windows 8, and it seems that snapshot views are working (MVFS was not installed). However this is still unofficial and thus not-guaranteed.
In the bottom line,聽I think that IBM plans to support ClearCase 8.x clients on Windows 8 by the end of December 2012.
